The RBSA Summer Show is the biggest open call exhibition of the year, with the show being displayed over all three floors of the Gallery.
Open to all artists over the age of 18, submissions come from both early-career and established creatives. With no restrictions on media or technique, visitors can expect to see a huge array of artwork, from a diverse collection of national and international artists. There will also be work from RBSA Members, Associates, and Graduate Artists as a further showcase of the talent within the Society’s Membership.
For many artists, exhibiting in the RBSA Summer Show has marked the beginning of their journey with one of the oldest art societies in the country. It also provides an excellent opportunity to exhibit in Birmingham’s foremost contemporary art gallery, and network with established RBSA artists.

The following prizes will be awarded:
First Prize £600
Second Prize £300
Up to six highly commended certificates will also be awarded.
