Simon Conolly

Simon Conolly works from his studio overlooking Wenlock Edge in Shropshire.

Many of his sculptures are inspired by the relationships and interactions between people in groups and crowds. He is also interested in pattern and movement, as reflected in his compositions representing creatures in numbers, for example, flocks of birds and shoals of fish.

His work has been hung at the Summer Exhibition of the Royal Academy and at the Royal Scottish Academy. Also at Open Exhibitions at the Royal Society of British Artists, the Royal Society of Marine Artists and the Society of Wildlife Artists. He has been a finalist at the Wildlife Artist of the Year and has also been a finalist in the National Open Art Competition.

He is a Member of the Royal Society of Marine Artists.
