Simon Conolly works from his studio overlooking Wenlock Edge in Shropshire.
Many of his sculptures are inspired by the interactions of people in groups and crowds. He is also interested in the dynamics and patterns created by other creatures in numbers, for example, flocks of birds and shoals of fish.
His work has been hung at the Summer Exhibition of the Royal Academy and at Open Exhibitions at the Royal Society of British Artists, Royal Society of Marine Artists and the Society of Wildlife Artists. He has been a finalist at the Wildlife Artist of the Year and has also been a finalist in the National Open Art Competition.
He is an Associate Members of the Royal Society of Marine Artists.
