This month we have welcomed our new RBSA Director, Rachel Dowling-Jones.
Rachel has worked in the fine art industry for over 25 years, working with commercial art galleries and often rubbing shoulders with well-known contemporary artists including Christian Hook, Sherree Valentine Daines and John Swannell. She is very keen to continue building upon the RBSA’s exceptional reputation, whilst growing the membership, as we welcome new and diverse artists into the Society.
“It’s been an exciting few weeks, and I am very much enjoying getting to know our members, artists, visitors, and figures from the local community. The RBSA is a fabulous organisation, with a history that dates from 1814, and has one of the best contemporary art gallery spaces in the region. If you haven’t visited us before, do drop by, say hello, and take the opportunity to view a collection of inspirational artwork.”
