About Victoria:
Victoria Linehan was born in Melbourne, Australia. Having completed her BA (hons) degree in Languages she spent many years in Italy teaching English. She moved to England in 1974 where she studied Fine Art at Margaret Street, Birmingham completing her degree in 1997.
Victoria is now a member of the Birmingham Printmakers where she does both her etchings and silk screens. Her landscape paintings are either done outdoors or in the studio in which case the TV programmes like “Country File” and “Coast to Coast” are a great source of inspiration.
In 2002 her prints were awarded Best Print Prize at Mid Art, West Midlands and in 2004 Highly Commended at the Wrexham Print International. Her Prints and paintings are in Private and Public Collections in the UK, Italy, Germany and New York.
Her cards, such as The Craven Arms Card, make perfect gifts for any Brummie who will recognise the local scene.
