Paul Brown RBSA

October 20 - November 14

Paul Brown’s work is predominantly figurative, working mainly in clay focusing primarily on the human form. His life studies are concerned with finding the character and inherent demeanour of the subject. Through a range of sculptural techniques and gestural movements in the clay, Paul endeavours to convey the spirit and personality of his individual sitters.

Alongside these life studies, Paul also creates more allegorical works, using the sculpted forms as a tool for storytelling and invented myth making. Expressions of a more imaginative form of imagery.

Paul has been a Member of the RBSA for over 17 years, he is also a member of the Birmingham Art Circle, and has over 25 years’ experience teaching adults and children within the creative world.

Exhibition closes: Saturday 14 November 5.00pm
