Ground Floor Exhibitions
Jodie Wingham is an artist, predominantly based within the field of printmaking, where her work seeks to challenge the constructs of the medium itself through an investigation into the nature of looking. Since graduating, her work has been selected for shows across the United Kingdom, she was a finalist for the BBA Gallery, Berlin Art Prize in 2025 and selected for the Royal Academy Summer exhibition 2021.
Wingham’s work combines many forms of printmaking to create artworks that playfully distort images, where both found images and her own creations are cropped and edited to focus on actions. Inspired by the act of observing others and the audiences’ enjoyment of this process she focuses on the viewers desire to look and gain information, often using imagery with voyeuristic tendencies.
Exhibition closes: Saturday 2 May 5.00pm
