Jungle Hand-dyed Silk Scarf

One of a kind green and blue (Jungle) hand-dyed oblong silk scarf by Heron Design Studio.

All of Heron Design Studio’s scarves are handmade using hand-dying (shibori) or hand-painting techniques, or a combination of both. Each piece is unique and lightweight. They are steam fixed in high temperatures, tied, and therefore pre-crushed/pre-creased. The tiny creases then create a beautiful pattern of blending colours. Steam makes the dyes permanent and even more vibrant. 

Each piece is handmade and therefore will have unique differences, its colours remain the same, but the patterns may vary.
