The RBSA Gallery is pleased to present the Drawing Prize 2025 catalogue, this catalogue contains all of the artwork selected for the exhibition.
The RBSA Drawing Prize invited artists whose work is rooted in drawing to enter artwork. This is a technique prize, meaning that we encouraged entries from artists working in all styles and media; the only restriction is that the technique must be drawing.
There were four main prizes, including £1,000 First Prize, £500 Second Prize, £250 Third Prize, and an under 35s prize of artists’ materials.
This year’s exhibition was selected by:
- Brendan Flynn – RBSA Professor of Art History, Curator, and Lecturer
- Alison Lambert – Internationally renowned figurative artist
- Fiona Robinson PRWA HRSA Hon. RBSA – President of the Royal West of England Academy (RWA)
This is the second RBSA Drawing Prize to be held; the first show in 2023 was a huge success.
