Jenny Sutton

Jenny Sutton paints a wide range of subjects including still life, rural and coastal buildings in landscape, and portraits, mostly in oils on canvas. Her favourite hunting grounds for subject matter are south Cornwall, Italy and her own potting shed and kitchen. She values good drawing and seeks to express her pleasure in her subject matter with a carefully chosen and not necessarily naturalistic palette.

She has exhibited widely in the South of England and is a regular exhibitor at the RBSA, the Royal West of England Academy, the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and the Society of Women artists. Sutton has work in collections in the UK, the USA, Italy and Ireland, and in the permanent collection of the RBSA. Visitors are welcome to visit her studio by appointment.
