After attending Bournville School of Art in Birmingham, Christopher Baker has had a varied and successful career in design and illustration. Amongst a wide variety of disciplines, he has produced artworks for books, gaming and graphic novels under the pseudonym ‘Fangorn’.
His most recent printed work is for a deluxe illustrated edition of Stephen Kings’ ‘Salems Lot’, published by PS Publishing. He has designed and storyboarded for over twenty feature films, working closely with the likes of Stanley Kubrick, Steven Spielberg and Tim Burton. He has also received several film-industry awards and nominations. Christopher is now devoting much more of his time to oil painting and printmaking. He has also discovered, in recent years, the joy of creating figurative sculptures in clay. His main artistic goal is to explore new artistic possibilities and produce striking images of people and the world around him.
