Hong Kong-based photographer Angela Lam brings a unique perspective shaped by over two decades in luxury marketing and a lifelong passion for visual storytelling. After earning her MA in Photography in 2021, she turned her full creative focus toward documentary photography, photobooks, and editorial work.
Angela’s practice is rooted in the exploration of abandoned places, lost heritage, and travel — seeking out the quiet narratives hidden within forgotten and overlooked spaces. Her images invite viewers to pause and consider what remains when time moves on, drawing attention to the fragile beauty of things the world tends to leave behind.
Angela’s work has earned international recognition, with features including the Royal Photographic Society’s IPE 164 exhibition and the FORMAT23 Photobook Market at Derby Museum. She has participated in Collect HK at the Hong Kong Arts Centre in 2026, and has been selected and showcased by the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists on multiple occasions across 2021, 2024, 2025, and 2026. She was elected as an RBSA Associate in 2026 — a recognition of her continued commitment to her practice and her engagement with the broader artistic community.
