David Marsh

Dave Marsh is a UK artist whose work spans realism and surrealism. He enjoyed art from an early age but was equally drawn to science subjects, which he studied throughout his time at school.

At eighteen years old, David had to choose between studying Fine Art or Architecture at university. He ultimately selected architecture as it combined both science and art. Now retired from architectural practice, he has returned to his original passion, reconnecting with his early interests in photorealism and surrealism.

David’s current work explores both realistic and surrealistic compositions which place incongruous figures or objects within believable landscapes. These combinations create subtle tension and unexpected narratives within the artwork.
