Artwork Appraisal

We are delighted to announce the next Friends Artwork Appraisal Event, which will take place in the Gallery on Sunday 25 January. Giving advice and answering questions will be Kate Sawbridge ARBSA and Lawrence Green ARBSA.
Artwork Appraisals offer our Friends the chance to bring their work to the Gallery and discuss it with artists from within the RBSA Membership. As well as receiving practical tips on how to improve technique, participating Friends will also be given valuable advice and guidance on how to progress their career.

Our Appraisals are completely free and exclusive to RBSA Friends.
Places on our Artwork Appraisals are allocated on a strictly first come, first served basis so, if you would like to attend, please email our Friends Coordinator, who will reply to confirm your place: friends@rbsa.org.uk
You will be able to bring up to two pieces of work with you and, if time allows, you may be able to discuss both.
Friends Drawing Day

The next Friends Drawing Day will be taking place at ThinkTank Birmingham Science Museum on Friday 27 February.
Our relaxed drawing days provide a wonderful opportunity for Friends to meet up in some of the region’s most interesting venues and put their sketchbooks to good use.
ThinkTank have kindly offered us a discounted rate of £14 per person for a group of 10 people or more. This cost will rise to £17 if fewer than 10 people attend.

Transport: From Birmingham City Centre, buses 14, 55/55A, 66, or 94 from the Priory Queensway (opposite Argos) to Jennens Road. The nearest train station is Moor Street station which is a 10 minute walk away, New Street Station is 15 minutes walk away.
