Alberta + Esther is a collaboration between the artist Jodie Wingham NWA and other artisans to create unique, hand crafted products in Great Britain that celebrates traditional processes. All of her pieces are entirely hand-made, the leather is dyed by hand, screen printed designs, riveting and marbling meaning that every item is unique.

For that special someone…
Studio Ina – Jewellery, £30 – £70
After attending Birmingham School of Jewellery, Susie Andrews set up her own workshop where she mainly works with precious metals. Sterling silver is Susie’s main material, and she often combines precious metals by incorporating hammered gold foil to create texture, or gold granulation which creates almost cellular forms.

Kiya Corrales – Jewellery, £70 – £140
All of Kiya’s jewellery is handmade with care and attention to detail by Kiya in her Birmingham based studio. Her work is designed to be effortlessly comfortable & beautiful. Her work is skilfully handcrafted using silver and gold, with natural gemstones adding pops of colour.
POD Ceramics – Ceramic Homewares, £28 – £135
Patrick makes wheel thrown and hand-built ceramics using an extensive range of expressive and often abstract mark making, painting and glazing techniques to create individual decorative works. All of his work is expertly handcrafted, and every item is unique, making them perfect for a stylish home.

For lovers of colour…
PicklePoppet Designs – Jewellery, £12 – £20

Little Lovers – Ceramic Jewellery, £24 – 45
Inspired by vintage and retro ceramics, Kate uses vintage colours, patterns, and shapes in her work to make fun and unique jewellery. Kate designs and handmakes each piece – from colouring clay and hand polishing each shape to decorating with metallic lustres, making every earing wire, and constructing each necklace chain.

For something truly unique…
Jill Pargeter – Textiles, £6 – £30
All of Jill’s textile pieces are handmade. The process begins with the creation of an original design which is then screenprinted on to fabrics, stitched and finalised. Her stock ranges from scented keepsakes and textile ornaments to zip bags and glasses cases.

Emma Wells – Glass, £17 – £60
Emma is a self-taught glass artist who has developed her unique style using printing techniques and kiln firing. Her collection of decoratively functional ‘house jewellery’ evokes bygone days and faded grandeur.
Due to her technique, no two items are the same, meaning that every piece is a true individual beauty.

Rosalind Stoddart – Alpaca Wool Scarves, £60
All of Ros’ work is sustainably handmade from alpaca fleece and natural dyes. From field to studio, every part of the process is handled by Ros, as it is the five alpacas who live in the field behind her house that supply the wool. Each item is lovingly hand created and naturally soft.
