RBSA Photography Prize 2023: Prize Winners Announced!

The RBSA Photography Prize Exhibition is hosted biennially to celebrate photographic art. Now in its fifth year since launching in 2015, the Photography Prize invites entries from all artists creating work using photographic processes.

Featuring 100 works from over 70 artists, this exhibition showcases the best of contemporary photography with the inclusion of both established and emerging photographers. A wide range of styles, techniques, and practices are on display, including modern DSLR, medium format film, 35mm film, collage, cyanotypes, and more.

This year, the works were selected and prizes awarded by:

Jaskirt Dhaliwal-Boora, Award-Winning Visual Artist, and winner of the GMC Trust 1st Prize in the 2021 RBSA Photography Prize

Max Kandhola, Photographer and Principal Lecturer at Nottingham Trent University

Nathan Tromans, Associate Professor and Head of Birmingham Institute of Creative Arts at Birmingham City University

And Frame Creatives awarded the second prize.
