Ron Law has been a Member of the RBSA since 2002. He is also a long-serving member of the Birmingham Watercolour Society and The Easel Club. Law has no formal art training and finds painting an enjoyable and absorbing pastime.

He paints mainly in watercolour, but with a strong emphasis on drawing. As a result, his favourite subjects tend to be buildings, street scenes, boats, and even industrial scenes. Ron aims to convey the atmosphere of the scene reasonably accurately, suggesting detail in parts of the picture but leaving something to the imagination of the viewer. He exhibit regularly with the societies/clubs of which he is a member and has been the winner of several awards at the Artist Magazine Open Exhibition.
