Mark Elsmore

Mark Elsmore was born in “The Potteries” North Staffordshire. He continues a family history of five generations of potters and painters.

He was elected as an Associate of the RBSA in 1999 and a Member in 2007. He has been a member of the Wirral Society of Arts since 2004. He exhibits nationally and has his artwork in collections throughout the UK and abroad.

Mark’s work has been selected for many prestigious annual society exhibitions including the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists, Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours, Royal Watercolour Society, Discerning Eye, New English Art Club, Royal Institute of Oil Painters, Manchester Academy, and Wirral National.

Elsmore has won many prizes and awards including: first prize at the Sunday Times Watercolour Competition 2012, RBSA Members and Associates Coley Tilley Prize 2009, Wirral National 2004 and Potteries Open 2008.
