Lawrence Green

Most of Lawrence Green’s exhibited paintings have been watercolours of mountain landscapes, based on reference photos taken over decades of roaming the mountains of Britain and Ireland.  He pays particular attention to colour transitions to give a sense of depth and to emphasise the space around and between the mountains.

More recently, Lawrence has widened his choice of media to include drawing and screen printing.

In November 2024 Lawrence was awarded second prize in The British Art Prize 2024.
