Most of Lawrence Green’s exhibited paintings have been watercolours of mountain landscapes, based on reference photos taken over decades of roaming the mountains of Britain and Ireland. He pays particular attention to colour transitions to give a sense of depth and to emphasise the space around and between the mountains.
Lawrence is currently exploring how his sense of form, colour and light can be expressed through screen printing.
