ANDI is the first openly trans artist to be voted in as an Associate of the RBSA.  Their work documents Trans and Queer people through portraiture, rooted in and continuing a narrative of Queer art history, exploring how being trans is seen as a spectacle in the current political climate.

Predominantly working in oils, ANDI paints blood systems over a neon pink base, and then builds thin layers of paint to capture the complexity and luminosity of skin.  ANDI also works in dry mediums.

ANDI was awarded with a highly commended in the 2023 RBSA Summer Show, was selected for the RBSA Drawing Prize Exhibition ’23 and Portrait Prize Exhibition in ’24.  They have also exhibited across the UK including the Mall Galleries in London and MK Gallery.  They have work in private collections in 13 countries.
