SUMMARY:Leaded Panel Stained-Glass Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Leaded Panel Stained-Glass Workshop with Vix Brown. \nParticipants will create a stained-glass panel using traditional leading techniques. The finished panel will be approximately 12cm x 34cm in dimension. \nTHIS WORKSHOP IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ANYONE WHO IS PREGNANT\, TRYING TO GET PREGNANT\, OR BREASTFEEDING. \nAge group and abilities to be taught         \n\n18 years and above\nIdeal for beginners and experienced artists\n\nCourse aims and skills/knowledge to be taught \n\nParticipants will be guided through creating their very own stained-glass heart panel\nParticipants will cut glass\, assemble with lead and solder\, then cement to form the finished piece\n\nCourse outline for the day\n\nThe day will include the following activities \n\nSelect a design from the selection brought by the tutor\nChoose glass from selection brought by the tutor\nCut and refine\nBuild panel\nSolder\nAdd hanging wire\nCement\nPick\, clean\, and polish\n\nThe tutor will demonstrate each stage and will be on hand to help each participant as much or as little as required. \nWhat you need to bring with you:\n\nAn apron/overall\nParticipants MUST wear solid soled\, closed toed shoes\n‘Work clothes’ are advised as the process is very messy\n\nWhat we will provide:\n\nGloves and masks will be provided\, participants may bring their own if preferred\nAll specialist material will be provided\n\nMethods of assessing outcomes\n\nFeedback from tutor\nGroup discussion\nCompletion of evaluation form\n\nBooking information\n\nTo book please use the ticketing system below.
