Information for artists wishing to enter

Deadline to enter

The deadline for entries has now passed.

The exhibition will be selected and curated by RBSA artist Annette Pugh and RBSA Gallery Director Sanna Moore. Artists will be selected through a two-stage application process:

1. Complete and return entry form enclosed.
2. If selected, attend a meeting to discuss your work.

The selected artists receive guidance on: the development of their creative practice, which artworks to show in the exhibition, and the practicalities of exhibition design and installation. Additional
guidance is also offered to support professional
development, for example:

+ Finding a studio space
+ Increasing their exhibiting opportunities
+ Networking
+ Achieving financial sustainability as an artist
+ Balancing teaching/paid work with art practice to allow the       development of new work

Next Wave Associates

Up to 4 artists will be offered the position of Next Wave Associate (NWA) at the end of the project.

Next Wave Associates will receive three years free Associate Membership of the Society, enabling them to exhibit in all RBSA exhibitions without paying subscription, entry, or display fees.

Next Wave Associates will also have the opportunity to support the future planning and direction of the Society.
