Summary of the exhibition

This retrospective traces Kate's fascinating life through her paintings, prints, and ephemera. Kate was a longstanding member of the RBSA and became the Society's first Professor of Painting in 1991. Kate was also a respected tutor at the Birmingham School of Art, where she worked alongside fellow influential artist, Bernard Fleetwood-Walker.

Private View, Tuesday 3 September, 6-8pm, to be opened by artist Tom Coates - Join us as we celebrate Kate's life and work over a glass of wine and with speeches by those who knew her.

Painting in the Style of Kate Fryer RBSA, Saturday 7 September, 11am-1pm and 2-4pm - Join Tony Yates RBSA as he demonstrates Kate's distinctive style using original source material.
