Carisa Chu in Glisten

As some of you may know, the RBSA awarded some prizes to students at the School of Jewellery. The first prize went to Carisa Chu, who was offered the chance to exhibit in 'Glisten'. Well, the exhibition is now installed and Carisa's work looks wonderful. We wish her all the best with her postgraduate study and every success with her jewellery career.

The prize:
The RBSA prize for Innovation and Creativity was awarded this year. Four graduates were selected from the end of year show by the previous Gallery Coordinator, Connie Wan.

The exhibition:
Each selected graduate exhibited their work in the 'Birmingham School of Jewellery Selected Graduates 2012' exhibition on the ground floor Back Wall (20 August to 22 September 2012). For details click here.

The first prize:
Out of the four, Carissa was chosen for first prize. This provided the chance to exhibit in the 'Glisten' exhibition in the RBSA Craft Gallery. For details about 'Glisten' click here.
