June Dudleston

June Dudleston

June Dudleston was born in Wallasey, Cheshire, and trained at Wallasey School of Art and Birmingham College for training of Art Teachers. She taught art in Adult Education. She continues to run demonstrations and workshops. June is a past president of the Birmingham Art Circle and President of the Hall Green Art Society. June was elected as an associate of the RBSA in 1987, and then as a member in 1999. June’s preferred method of painting is to use oil paint, applying it with a painting knife rather than with a brush. Subjects are usually landscape and seascape, and she likes the time of year, and sees different weather conditions to be important. June does not accept commissions. Her paintings start at about £150 for 6 inches by 8 inches’ pictures, up to about £800 for 30 inches by 40 inches’ picture.
