Most recently in 2009 he had work exhibited in London with the Royal Society of British Artists, was awarded the major prize in the 2009 RBSA Members and Associates exhibition and had two works selected for the 2010 Birmingham Open exhibition. His work is held in the permanent collections of Shropshire County Council, Dudley Art Gallery and the RBSA. Statements by two artists reflect and express his particular passions as a painter - `Remember that a painting before becoming a favourite theme, a nude or a specific anecdote is just a flat surface covered with colours in a certain order.` - Maurice Denis. ‘I look at nature and write my own song about it.` - Ivon Hitchens.
